Yes, there are small stores throughout the country. You will find major supermarkets and larger shops in towns and cities. Keep a store in your campervan along with drinks to keep you flexible so that you can stay out and away from towns and villages for longer.
Is it OK to drive at night in Zambia?
No. Avoid driving at night at all costs. Make sure you are parked up about 2 hours before sundown. There are many large wandering animals on the roads at night and they are difficult to see.
