The main campervan hire suppliers in Namibia are Britz, Caprivi, Maui and Bobo campers. These are well established and reliable companies who supply quality vehicles to rent.
Choose the type of vehicle for your road trip. Choose the size and number of beds required. The 4x4 vehicles only have roof tents that will sleep two or four people in one or two roof tents.
The campervans are 2-berths and 4-berths and 6-berths with showers and wc's on board. They are well equipped with a kitchen that includes a cook top and good sized fridge.

Generally, a 4x4 is not required for travelling Namibia although it feels much nicer to have one. A four-wheeler is necessary for the Sossusvlei, for the Khaudum National Park, for Kaokoland and for drives through sandy terrain, on dunes, beaches or in riverbeds. Some farm roads might also be difficult to negotiate without a 4x4.

The larger motorhomes are a good option if you want more space for the two of you but will sleep up to 6 people.
