You will have to be over 21.Only the smaller camping-cars and sleeper cars can be driven by 21 year old drivers. The larger campervans and motorhomes can only be driven by 23 to 25 year old drivers.

The campervan rental companies in Spain usually supply a campervan with basic essentials and you have to make your own choices from the list that we supply as you go through our booking engine. This gives you the choice to either take your own bedding etc or to purchase it when you get there.

Optional extras include bike racks, bedding, kitchen equipment, child seats, transfers, maps etc. They are all listed when you go through the booking process. This gives you the option of either purchasing rather than renting or taking your own.

Each rental company has slightly differing policies when it comes to supplying a child seat in the campervan. Some will charge a small fee, others suggest you bring your own and some include them for free. We make it clear on the booking engine which company does what. If you are not sure, please contact us.

The larger motorhomes have "garages" at the rear of the vehicles where you can store surf boards, skis, bikes and any leisure equipment. Bike racks are an optional extra.

Yes, they will take you through how to empty the toilet.It is a clean and straightforward process. The toilet cassette is accessed from outside the campervan and is completely sealed. You will be shown how to open the cassette and how to dispose of the contents and where to empty it.

Yes, there are cancellation fees and these are clearly stated on the terms and conditions for each campervan or motorhome. The earlier you cancel the less fees will be applied.

Aires are parking areas set aside for campervans and motorhomes to stay overnight. They are often close to towns and villages and can be found throughout Europe. There is either no charge or a small fee for overnight stays and they are specifically for motorcaravans.

Yes, there are over 500 Aires throughout Spain and the rest of Europe. They are called Area para autocaravana or Areas AC.

Tourist information offices are throughout Spain and they will give you directions on where the Aires are. Carrying a printed copy of a guide to Aires in Spain or downloading an App before you set off may be useful if you can get a good signal on your phone or get internet access.. New Area Para Autocaravana are being added to all the time.

There are gas cook tops in most of the larger campervans and motorhomes. The smaller camping-cars have a single gas burner which with a bit of ingenuity can be used to create marvellous meals.

Spain has a fantastic supply of fresh fruits, vegetable, fish and meat so sourcing good ingredients is easy. Simple meals work best. Try lots of salads and cook-top vegetables that you can cook on the gas hob.

All campervans and motorhomes have fridges that will operate all the time. Some have three-way fridges so work off gas, electricity or battery. Some have just two-way fridges. The smaller camping cars may only have a cool-box.

The gas heats the water in the shower and an electric pump which uses the battery system to circulate the water.
